Title: Honoring the Life of Carrie: The "Jesus Lady"
On December 6th 2025 at 10:37 AM, my world grew a little darker, but Heaven gained a bright, shining light. My beautiful Mama, Carrie, was called home to be with the Lord.
For years, Mama battled courageously against Stage 4 uterine cancer. She endured chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation with a strength that only comes from God. While her spirit remained unbreakable, the treatments took a massive toll on her body, specifically her heart. On December 6th, her heart simply stopped, and she went to rest in the arms of the Savior she loved so much.
To many of you, she was known as the "Jesus Lady." She didn't just talk about faith; she lived it. She spoke of Jesus to anyone she met, sharing His love until the very end.
As an only child, I am shattered trying to navigate this world without my best friend and my spiritual rock. The financial weight of this moment is heavy. I dedicated this season of my life to being Mama’s full-time caregiver (IHSS) so she wouldn't have to fight alone. Because I was unable to work outside the home while caring for her, my funds are terribly limited right now.
I have no immediate family here, so I am leaning on her community—her friends and loved ones—to be my "village" during this time.
I am setting up this fund to help cover the unexpected expenses to lay my Mama to rest and to plan a Celebration of Life worthy of the joy she brought to others. I am believing God by faith that people will respond and help me through this heartbreaking process.
Thank you in advance for any donation, big or small. If you cannot donate, I humbly solicit your prayers for my strength in the days ahead.
With gratitude,
Carrie’s Daughter
