Hi, my name is Mary Roethemeyer. Our mother, Carolyn Rusmisel, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2026. We need help to fund the cremation and memorial service.

She left behind a family and countless loved ones whose lives were forever touched by her love, kindness, and strength. Carolyn was a wonderful woman with a heart bigger than words could ever describe. She was the hardest-working woman many would ever know, a strong and independent mother who never stopped working, never stopped helping, and never stopped loving. No matter how difficult life became, she always found a way to keep moving forward and make sure the people around her were taken care of.

To Carolyn, family was about much more than blood. She loved everyone and had a special gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for. She never limited her love to just her own children; if someone needed help, comfort, or a little extra love, she was there. She gave selflessly, put others before herself, and made so many people feel like family.

One of the greatest lessons Carolyn taught those around her was that everything happens for a reason and, no matter how hard life gets, everything will be okay. These were more than just words to her. They reflected the strength and determination she carried throughout her life. She taught her children to stay strong, keep pushing forward, and never give up, even when life seemed impossible. Her love, sacrifices, and guidance helped shape the people they are today.

Carolyn also had a special love for wolves, Native American culture, and dream catchers. The wolf is a beautiful symbol of the woman she was: strong, independent, loyal, protective, and devoted to her family. Just as a wolf watches over its pack, Carolyn spent her life looking after those she loved, offering support and making sure no one felt alone. Her spirit, strength, and fierce love for her family will forever be remembered.
