Carmen Miner was my mom’s first child. She was born in Tennessee and they moved back to Utah when she was two years old. She met and joined my mom’s big family with lots of cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents. She had such thick beautiful brown hair, pretty hazel eyes and very pretty skin. Carmen grew up and was so smart, very clever, talented musically, and outstandingly shined as a member of the West Jordan high school Drill Team.
Losing Carmen has really hit my mom and me hard and leaves a huge void in our little family, a coven of three is now two. My mother worked hard as a single mom raising us in our cute little home in West Jordan.
After high school Carmen struggled making good choices. She had two beautiful daughters that were adopted through Foster Care.
My mom talked with her the week of her 30th birthday, October 24th. She had such clarity and positive plans for her future and left us really hopeful she would continue on that positive path. Her sudden death has been shocking and devastating.
We are hoping for family and friends support to give her a decent memorial and let her rest in peace.
