My name is Jeannie, mother of three of Carlos’s youngest children: Carlos, Kylen, and Nevaeh, and stepmother to his oldest son, Javonte. Carlos was the stepfather to Johndell and Onyee. Carlos was truly my soulmate for 24 years and a wonderful father to his children. Tragically, on Mother’s Day morning, we received the phone call no one EVER wants to get. Carlos was doing one of the things he loved... riding with several of his brothers on his second love... his motorcycle. Little did he know that would be his last ride But this ride left him alone, dying alone... on the side of the road.

Carlos would do anything for anyone. He was one of the few people that if he told you he’d be there or do something for you, he was there! There wasn’t anything in the world of masonry that he couldn’t do... stone, block, brick, flat work... didn’t matter... he mastered it.

Most people in Delaware have heard of or personally have competed against him in the world of cornhole, chess, basketball, and shooting pool at Tom’s Bullpen in Dover.

If you weren’t part of the 49ers fan club, stay quiet, 'cuz he didn’t want to hear of anyone else. This man received so many medals, awards, and trophies, and I’m not asking for anything for myself, but he deserves a beautiful memorial service for the life he lived and the lives of so many he touched.
