My name is Destiny Bravo, and my family and I are raising funds to help the family honor Carlos Gonzales, who meant so much to all of us. On January 30, Carlos was found after 4 days and was suffering a massive stroke that affected the right side of his brain and paralyzed the left side of his body. When he was found, he also had a large wound on his lower back that caused sepsis MRSA. During this time he has suffered multiple complications and distress, such as; incubation, aspersions, worry of more strokes, more blood clots, ulcers, etc.

Carlos was in the hospital for a total of 35 days until March 7th when June (daughter), & Monique (granddaughter) decided to keep fighting for him and move him into aggressive rehabilitation care because we had hope, but Despite the doctors’ best efforts to heal the wound and treat his stroke a turn of events happened on Monday, March 9th when we went to visit him he did not look good and Doctors advised an emergency meeting which led to them letting us know that Carlos is transitioning to his new life and they believe he will only be here for another couple of days.

Carlos ended up passing away over night on Tuesday, March 10th of 2026.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. We want to give Carlos the farewell he deserves, but the costs of funeral arrangements, memorial services, and other necessary expenses are more than we can manage alone.
