Honoring Carla Janes' Final Wishes

On January 9, 2021, Carla Janes passed away surrounded by her family in Altoona, PA unexpectedly from Covid. Due to Carla's extensive health issues she was unable to secure life insurance. Ongoing medical bills for her and her husband made it difficult for them to save and prepare for their final expenses.
Due to her sudden death we are having difficulty securing the funds needed to cover her final expenses. She has about $4K tied up in an IRA, however, we need to have the death certificate to cash it in. Because of this, those funds won't be available until after payment is needed for her funeral.
Unfortunately, her children are not in a position to cover the costs alone. We know our Mom was loved by many, and would want her final wishes to be honored. We are humbly asking for your help in allowing us to honor her wishes and give her the services she wanted. Please do not feel obligated to help, but please know that anything helps at this point. We need just under $10K to cover the expenses. Anything above and beyond that will help cover expenses for her husband, Dave Janes, as he transitions from Flinton, PA to the Hershey, PA area to a smaller home more suitable for his current needs.
