​Steve was a respected LAX-based Captain for JetBlue Airways, but beyond his distinguished career in the skies, his true North Star was his wife, Marlo. He was a devoted husband and an incredibly proud father to his two children, Ella and Gage. Everything he did was rooted in his love for them.

​To know Steve was to love him. He was the kind of person who lit up a room the moment he walked into it. With a quick wit and a genuine, funny spirit, he was incredibly personable with every person he met. Even if you had just met Steve, He would make you feel like you had been friends for a lifetime. It is no surprise that he leaves behind a vast circle of friends who will miss his laughter and his light.

​At the time of Steve’s passing, both he and Marlo were on disability. This has left the family in an incredibly vulnerable position, facing a mountain of uncovered medical expenses that insurance will not bridge, alongside the sudden, significant costs of funeral and memorial arrangements. Without Steve’s active income, Marlo and the kids are also navigating immediate financial needs during the most painful chapter of their lives.
