It is with shattered hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Cameron "Jimmy" a beloved son, brother, family member, and friend. At just 18 years old, Cameron had recently graduated high school and was beginning the next chapter of his life when his life was tragically cut short.

Cameron had a way of making people laugh, bringing energy wherever he went, and keeping life interesting. He brought joy to those around him and created memories that will be cherished forever.

No parent should ever have to endure the pain of losing a child, and no family is ever prepared for a loss so unimaginable.

We are creating this fundraiser to help Cameron’s father (Anthony Mertens) & siblings during this devastating time. Donations will go toward funeral and memorial expenses, as well as helping provide financial support so the family can take needed time away from work to grieve, heal, and be together without the added burden of immediate financial stress.
