Cameron's journey Foundation Fund

Cameron passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 10, 2025, at the age of 10. Our "Mighty Mouse" overcame every obstacle he faced, starting with his entry into this world as a micro-preemie born at 25 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb 6 oz. He spent the first 7 months of his life in the Children's St. Paul NICU and had to have many surgeries over the years—most of which (including a tracheostomy, feeding tube, and re-sectioning of his intestines) were necessary to save his life.

As a 4th grader, he loved school and watching sports (especially the MN Wild and the Vikings). He could quote their game schedule and standings in their division. He loved seeing his friends at Crestview Elementary and never complained about going to school.

Everyone who met him saw and felt his sparkling personality, and he inspired so many just by being a survivor of all he had to face in his young life.

Cameron was laid to rest 1/18/25 surrounded by a huge turnout of love and support.. however the greiving process remains to ge a long road ahead for the whole family.

We are continuing to raise funds to start a foundation in Cameron's name. Dave and Kelly want to help others that are in the NICU or have faced the loss of a child.
