My name is Pasita Gilmore the youngest sister of Calvin Bellamy. A devoted father, loving brother, and hardworking man has been called home far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and sacrifice.

Calvin “Jr” Bellamy was more than just a hardworking man—he was a loving father, a devoted brother, and someone who truly cared for the people around him.

Jr dedicated over 20 years of his life to Giant Food, starting as a seafood clerk and working his way up to become a respected Meat Department Manager. His work ethic, leadership, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Outside of work, Jr was the heart of his family. He helped raise and care for his younger siblings, always stepping up with love and support. He enjoyed cooking on the grill, bringing people together with food, laughter, and warmth.

In early April, Jr was diagnosed with stage four cancer. His illness progressed quickly, and due to severe breathing complications, doctors were unable to stabilize him enough to begin treatment. He passed away shortly after his diagnosis, leaving his family devastated.

Jr leaves behind his beloved 8-year-old son—his pride and joy—who meant everything to him. One of Jr’s final wishes was that his loved ones would not be burdened with sadness or worry, and most importantly, that his son would be well taken care of.

We are asking for support to help honor Jr’s life. Contributions will go toward his homegoing service and final arrangements, as well as ensuring his son has the stability and care his father wanted for him. Any amount, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
