It is with broken hearts that we ask our community to come together for the family of our friend and APHA President, Cabot Pitts.

Cabot was a respected Alaska registered guide, owner of Alaska Wild Wind Adventures, and President of the Alaska Professional Hunters Association. He gave so much of himself to Alaska’s guiding profession, to conservation, to his fellow hunters and guides, and to protecting the traditions and way of life that meant so much to him.

But for everything Cabot accomplished in his life, nothing mattered more to him than his family.

Cabot leaves behind his wife, Lily, and their two beautiful little girls, Piper, just 2 years old, and Parker, only 2 weeks old.

Anyone who knew Cabot knew that he was capable of just about anything. He was a guide, pilot, hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and businessman. He was also a devoted husband, an incredibly proud father, and the kind of friend who made time for the people he cared about, even when there never seemed to be enough hours in his day.

The loss of Cabot is immeasurable, but right now our greatest concern is for Lily, Piper and Parker as they face a future none of them should have had to face.

We have created this fundraiser to surround Cabot’s family with the same kind of support he gave so freely to others. Funds raised will go directly to Lily to help provide for her and the girls as they navigate the days, months and years ahead.

For those who knew Cabot, hunted with him, worked alongside him, called him a friend, or simply knew the impact he had on Alaska’s hunting and guiding community, please consider giving what you can.
