Honoring Burgess Brown: Help Celebrate His Life
Donation protected
Family is everything. While "family" is often defined by shared blood, its true meaning is found in shared love. Burgess Brown was family to many—through both blood and love.
From a young age, Burgess was lovable and endearing. After losing his father as a boy, he was raised with unwavering love and prayer from his grandmother, Ruby Burgess (“Meemaw”), and his mother, Carolyn Brown, who devoted themselves to caring for him and his sister, Ashante. As a student, he was mentored by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Burgess had a deep love for his family—both those connected by blood and those bound by love. He lived with passion, exuded style, and cared deeply for his mother and sister, who he doted on until his health declined.
Though he has now found peace, Burgess remains dearly loved. His mother could use our support to fund his memorial service, allowing us all to celebrate his life together. Any contribution is deeply appreciated as we honor the memory of a beloved son, brother, and "family" to many.
