My dad suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on May 7th, 2025. He often said, “I don’t want a funeral, I don’t want people to be sad or cry over me.”

Being that his birthday in August would have been his 70th birthday, we decided to have a celebration of life/70th birthday party.

Unfortunately, due to his health issues, he was unable to secure life insurance. So we had to pay for his cremation out of pocket which left us with not a lot of money to cover this party.
