My name is Melissa Adams and I am the daughter of Bruce Kohler.
It is with a shattered heart to say that my father passed away yesterday evening. He passed away in his chair at his work campsite, from what we believe to be a heart attack. He was found by coworkers unresponsive without vital signs.
Words can’t express the shock and pain we feel. Dad appeared to be doing well. I have literally lost half of my soul , my best friend, my ride or die. People close to us know how close we were , and I wasn’t ready to lose him.
Please pray for us as we navigate through this extremely difficult time.
Bruce was a great man, a great father, and an amazing grandfather. He loved his kids and grandkids to no end. He was a great friend and to know him was to love him. He is leaving behind his daughter, his son, his oldest brother, 2 granddaughters and a grandson. His smile and laugh and singing will be greatly missed. He was loved by everyone. He was a hardworking man and also had a great passion for his garden and bonfires.
There will be a private family showing before he is cremated, and there will be a celebration of life that all are invited to attend and pay their respects.
This fundraiser is for end of life care and services.
