Honoring Brooke – A Way to Give Back in Her Memory
Donation protected
Brooke Williams was a smart, kind, and passionate 19-year-old UGA student whose joy and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She lived with epilepsy for the past three years and tragically passed away in her sleep from a seizure on April 21st 2025. While our hearts are broken, we are committed to honoring Brooke’s life in a way that reflects her spirit and values.
This page was created in response to the many people asking how they could help or support the family during this time. In Brooke’s memory, funds raised will be donated to causes she believed in deeply—and used to help others in her name.
In keeping with Brooke’s wishes, 100% of the funds raised will be donated to the causes she loved:
• The Cameron Boyce Foundation – funding epilepsy research and youth empowerment programs
• Epilepsy Foundation – supporting awareness, research, and services for those living with epilepsy
• Make-A-Wish Foundation – granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses
• The Brooke Williams Memorial Scholarship – a future scholarship to be awarded annually. We will share more details once the program is established.
All contributions will be collected into one fund and thoughtfully distributed between these initiatives. If anyone wishes to direct their donation toward a specific cause (such as the scholarship), we’ll do our best to honor that.
We plan to share updates as donations are made, and the scholarship takes shape. Thank you for helping us keep Brooke’s light shining.
