With great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of our dear friend, brother, and son, Brock Bouchard. A bright light in the darkest of days, Brock was a gentle soul who always put everyone before himself. He wanted the best for others, even when they couldn’t see it for themselves. Sadly, in being so selfless, he struggled to find those same things for himself. He was truly the best of all of us.
Brock envisioned a grand dream of “making it” someday, not realizing that he already had the world at his fingertips. He spoke openly about life’s darkness and how to navigate it, but ultimately, the darkness overcame his light. The world became a much dimmer place that day.
No one can prepare for a loss like this, and with Brock being across the country, the funeral expenses combined with the cost of bringing him home have taken a heavy toll on his family. We have created this GoFundMe to help offset the financial burden of his untimely passing.
In addition, we have also created a donation link to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Brock’s name. If you are able to donate to either, it would be deeply appreciated in his memory. Any funds raised beyond the cost of his services will be donated to the foundation by his family. We thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Brock on October 19th in Malta, NY (details TBD). This will be a day to come together, share stories, grieve, and raise a glass to someone who represented the very best of what the world had to offer.
Rest in peace, Brock. We’ll take it from here. ❤️
