Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you are aware, Brittany tragically passed away on Friday, August 15. It was unexpected and we are all devastated.
* She was a ray of light who loved to make people laugh (even at her own expense).
* She loved to sing (and will forever be our karaoke queen).
* She loved the ocean (and any body of water, for that matter).
* She had always wanted to be a mermaid (and now she can).
* She loved to travel.
* She loved her community, including her vast support network of friends and family.
* She loved animals (especially Sonja, who she's been reunited with in heaven).
* She loved everything Disney and never tired of visiting as often as she could.
* She loved helping others and doing what she could to make a difference.
* She was smart, sassy (but sweet), and had an undeniable sparkle.
She will be missed, but we know her spirit will stay alive through your anecdotes, pictures, and memories.
To remember Brittany and honor her legacy, we're hosting a Celebration of Life. We know she was well-loved throughout the state, country, and, heck, around the world. We wish we could travel everywhere she's made an imapct, but that could take us another lifetime. Instead, we'd like to invite everyone to join us in Southern California to swap stories, make each other smile through the tears, and talk about what a special human she was and always will be in our hearts.
Celebration of Life:

Location: San Juan Mobile Estates

Thinking of you all and appreciate all of the kind words, notes, cards, flowers, phone calls, and everything in between. Thank you for loving Brittany and being an important part of her life.
Lastly, we would love to see any pictures you'd like to share. Please add anything (you don't mind being public) here.
With love,
The Black Family
