This past Sunday, our families’ lives were tragically shattered. Brian, my brother’s husband, and a beloved son, brother, uncle, and dear friend, passed away unexpectedly at the hospital just days after celebrating his 35th birthday.

Brian had one of the biggest hearts you could ever imagine. He cared deeply for everyone he met, whether you were a lifelong friend, family, or even a stranger. His generosity, compassion, and genuine spirit touched countless lives. He had a way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and welcomed. Brian was the life of the party, the one who could bring joy to any room, and the kind of person who left a lasting mark on every person he encountered.

Now, both my brother and Brian’s family are left grieving this unimaginable loss while also facing the sudden financial hardships that come with it.
