Our family is living a nightmare we never imagined. We lost my father-in-law in a sudden automobile accident, and our hearts are shattered. Nothing could have prepared us for this.

He wasn’t just a husband, father, or grandfather — he was the center of our family.

He was Denise’s rock and her partner in every part of life.

He was the dad who showed up for Anthony, James, and Alexis no matter what, always ready with advice, a joke, or a hug.

And he was the world’s most patient, loving “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren — Anthony, Selena, Aaliyah, Kobe, Liam, and Luca. The kids adored him. He made every moment special, whether it was a quick visit, a holiday, or just sitting together and talking.

He had a way of making everyone feel safe and cared for. You always knew you were loved when he was in the room.
