Honoring Brent Bridwell
Donation protected
Brent Bridwell is a kind, loving Texan that has been a part of the Puga/Nakamoto family here in California for 30 years. Six years ago at the age of 48, before a routine screening was recommended, he began having gastrointestinal symptoms requiring a colonoscopy. At that time they discovered 2 masses in his colon with later testing revealing stage IV cancer with metastasis to the liver. Since then Brent has fought through multiple bouts of chemo, and multiple surgeries for a liver resection, drain placements, a bile duct stent and multiple other procedures too numerous to list. In July of this year he became septic from an infection that landed him in ICU. Although he recovered enough to return home he was unable to resume the current plan of chemo with additional surgery. He fought hard for six years for the love of his family especially Carol, the one love of his life.
Both Brent and Carol were unable to work full time throughout the 6 year period that he was sick. With medical bills piled high and an upcoming service, financial resources are slim to none. Brent fought hard to stay around as long as possible so that Carol would not be left uncared for. Brent passed on his birthday January 11, 2020 at the age of 52. Any resources collected will be used to pay off medical bills and for Brent's service. Please help Brent's family and friends honor him by giving him the one thing that he would want, to leave those around him better off than they were because they knew him!
