Brenden had one of the kindest hearts I've ever known. He was always there for others, offering a listening ear and a gentle word, even as he struggled with his own battles. Throughout his early adulthood, Brenden faced depression and anxiety, fighting bravely every day. On December 4th, 2025, he lost his battle to his inner demons, leaving a void in the lives of everyone who loved him.
As we try to come to terms with this heartbreaking loss, we are faced with the overwhelming costs of funeral arrangements and the desire to honor Brenden's memory in a meaningful way. The funds raised will help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses, allow us to create mental health awareness sweatshirts in Brenden's honor, and provide therapy and support for family and friends who are struggling to cope with this tragedy. We want to ensure that Brenden's legacy is one of compassion and hope, and that those affected by his loss have the resources they need to heal.
I am reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time. No parent should ever have to bury a child, especially at the age of 25. The circumstances are traumatizing, and we have a very long, difficult road ahead of us. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help lighten the burden on Brenden's family and allow us to honor his memory in the way he deserves. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
Funeral will take place on Wednesday, December 10th 12-1pm at Mills Funeral Home in Grand Ledge, MI.
