On December 11, we lost our dear friend and colleague, Bree Tholkes, far too soon. Her passing was completely unexpected, and our hearts are broken. Bree was deeply loved by everyone who knew her — especially by her six children, ages 6 through 18, who are now facing the unimaginable.

For the past four years, Carillon at Belleview Station has been more than just Bree’s workplace. It became her second family. She brought warmth, joy, and dedication into our community every single day, and she cared for residents and team members with her whole heart.

As a community, we want to honor Bree by rallying around the people she loved most, her children. With the holidays approaching, we hope to provide support, stability, and care during a time that would normally be filled with her presence.

All donations will go directly toward funeral expenses and the needs of Bree’s children as they navigate the weeks and months ahead.

This account was setup by Ascent Living Communities, CEO Tom Finley, the former employer of Bree Tholkes. To help raise funds for the six children she left behind after she suddenly passed away. The money will be used to cover funeral costs. Then the remaining money will be split evenly among the six children, now living in three different homes.
