Honoring Brandon McGhee’s Memory

On behalf of my family, I am sharing the heartbreaking loss of my son, Brandon McGhee, who was taken from us at just 16 years old due to a tragic act of gun violence. Brandon was smart, loving, genuine, and always ready to make others laugh. He cared deeply for everyone around him and was known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. His dream was to graduate from high school and become a source of support for our family, always putting others before himself.

Losing Brandon has left us with a profound sense of loss. Our family is doing our best to stay strong, leaning on each other and spending time together as we navigate this difficult time. The suddenness of his passing has brought unexpected challenges, especially as we work to cover the costs of his funeral and honor his memory in a way that reflects the love and light he brought into our lives.
