Brandon Kralik, beloved husband, son, father, brother and friend, has passed away suddenly, leaving us all in shock and devastating sadness.

Many of you knew Brandon on very personal levels. You know that he was a master painter, a world traveler with a lust for life, a deep thinker, great conversationalist, believer in Peace and beauty through art. He was, quite simply, a wonderful human being. And I can tell you, with great confidence, that if he knew you... he loved you. And if he didn't know you... he loved you too.

If Brandon could ask for one last thing from each of you...it would be to love one another. Reach out and tell people that you love and appreciate them. To pause and appreciate art and beauty and each other.

Brandon Kralik was a deeply creative soul who saw beauty everywhere and poured that spirit into every painting he touched.

Brandon studied art in Colorado and New York City before traveling the US and Europe in search of inspiration. Devoted to portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and figurative works, he spent his life mastering the rich, warm tradition of the Dutch Masters — painting that transcends time. He spent several formative years in Norway as a studio assistant to renowned painter Odd Nerdrum, then continued his artistic path in Sweden, exhibiting internationally.

Maui was his home. A cherished fixture in the Maui art community, he was known for his warmth and authenticity. When the Lahaina fires devastated the town, Brandon responded the way he always did — through painting. He created works honoring the places he loved, preserving their memory and spirit.

Brandon left behind a rich and significant body of paintings that deserve to find the right homes, galleries, collectors, and spaces where his art can be seen, felt, and loved the way he intended. Each piece carries his hand, his eye, and his devotion to beauty.
