With heavy hearts, our family is coming together to share the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Brandon Darnell Gleason, who passed away unexpectedly from a tragic heart attack at just 35 years old. To know Brandon was truly to love him. He was one of the most caring, genuine, and loving people you could ever meet, and his presence meant so much to so many of us.

Above everything else, Brandon loved his three children — Caleb, Lauren, and Dior. They were his world. He lived his life with the goal of being the best father and role model he could possibly be. He carried wisdom beyond his years and was always there to listen, support, and guide anyone who needed him. Brandon was never a follower — he was always a leader. He was truly “DAT Dude” — confident, stylish, laid-back, and always authentically himself no matter what. ✨

Our family is devastated by this loss. As his mother so beautifully said, “He was not ours to keep.” God had other plans for Brandon, and we find comfort knowing he is now resting in Heaven.

While Brandon always made sure to stay on top of his responsibilities and did have a life insurance policy in place, we are unfortunately unable to utilize those funds at this time to assist with his funeral arrangements. Because of this, we are asking for support from family, friends, and the community as we come together to give him the Homegoing he deserves this Friday.

So today, we are asking for the support of everyone who knew and loved Brandon — and even those who may simply feel led to help. Brandon was always there for others, always giving, always showing up. Now we are asking for help showing up for him and his children during this incredibly difficult time. ️
