Hello, I am Alliyah Mullen, Brandi Mullen’s eldest daughter.

On April 14th, my mother went to the hospital with mild bleeding and wasn’t sure why. They tried to find the cause but weren’t able to at the time, they did however find severe damage done to a few internal organs, including her heart, due to the baby’s position and her scoliosis. My mother passed away at the young age of 35, less than a week after her birthday, shortly after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl that is her spitting image❤️‍. She unfortunately was not able to meet her, but she knew the baby was going to be okay. My mother and the baby’s doctors were both so amazing and took the absolute best care of them possible.

Me (Daughter), Angela Bortz (Mom), and Bonnie Bortz (Sister) will ultimately be the main caregivers for the baby girl, and she will live with me and my grandmother. We are trying to prepare as fast and as much as possible for when she is released from the NICU.

We are accepting donations of any sort towards the celebration of life for my amazing mother, and help for baby girl as well. Absolutely anything helps and is more than appreciated by the family. Please also include my family and me in your prayers as this is a very difficult time for everyone. If you have any photos of or with our beautiful angel, reach out and send them to me. I would love to have and include them all in her celebration as she is loved and remembered by so many.
