On the afternoon of June 17, 2026, around 4:30 PM, our beloved family member, Brandan Lucas, was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence and jealousy while he was at work at Five Below in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brandan was simply doing his job when his life was stolen far too soon. This tragedy has left our family heartbroken, shocked, and struggling to process an unimaginable loss.

Brandan was a loving son and a devoted brother who meant everything to his family. He had a big heart and a vibrant spirit. He loved spending time with his friends and family, always bringing energy, laughter, and light into every room he walked into. Brandan loved having fun, making memories, and being surrounded by the people he cared about most.

His family is absolutely devastated by his loss. His brother is heartbroken, and his mother is struggling deeply with this unimaginable pain. She is having an especially difficult time coping with the sudden and tragic loss of her son, and the grief has been overwhelming for the entire family.

In the aftermath, we experienced even more trauma and confusion. Several news sources reported Brandan’s passing before our family had even been formally notified. We were left waiting for hours without clear or confirmed information.

When a detective finally spoke with us, he did not immediately confirm Brandan’s identity. We were told there was only one deceased individual and that we would need to formally identify him the following day. Those hours of uncertainty were incredibly painful for our family during an already devastating time.

Brandan’s absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

We are asking for support during this incredibly difficult time to help with unexpected funeral and memorial expenses, as well as immediate costs that come with such a sudden loss. Any funds raised will go directly toward giving Brandan the respectful and loving farewell he deserves.

We are also seeking justice for Brandan. This case remains under active investigation, and we ask that anyone with information contact law enforcement directly and assist authorities as they work toward answers and accountability.
