Honoring Bob: A Fund to Support Marla After His Passing

I am a good friend of Bob and Marla Hazen. As many of us know, when someone we love and care for gets sick, it is a very helpless feeling and you just want to be able to do something, anything, to help. There isn't really anything that you can do but be there to help and support in small ways. I think this would help in a small but also large way!

It is with a heavy heart that we come together to support our dear friend Marla, who has lost her beloved husband, Bob. After a courageous six-year battle with illness, Bob passed away, leaving a profound emptiness in the lives of all who knew him.

Bob and Marla were a shining testament to love and partnership. Their bond was unshakable, built over years of shared memories and experiences. Bob’s strength, humor, and kindness were felt by everyone around him, and his loss leaves an irreplaceable void in Marla's life and also all that knew him.

For the past six years, Bob bravely fought an ongoing illness, with Marla by his side every step of the way. Their journey was one of immense strength, but also great sacrifice. Throughout the highs and lows, Marla remained Bob’s steadfast support, giving everything she had to care for him, often at the expense of her own well-being.

As Marla navigates this difficult time, she faces both emotional and financial challenges. The medical expenses, cremation costs, and the uncertainty that comes with losing a life partner are overwhelming. This fund is being created to ease the financial burden, provide Marla with some comfort, and help her move forward as she adjusts to life without Bob.
