Hello, my name is Briyanna Jackson, stepmom of Blase. During this very difficult time, our family is asking for your support in laying Mr. Blase to rest.

On Saturday morning, June 1, 2024, Blase was awakened due to having trouble breathing. The heavy breathing progressed rapidly, causing Blase to have a very severe asthma attack where he collapsed as treatment was being administered, leading Blase into cardiac arrest. CPR was administered immediately by family while waiting for EMS to arrive. Once EMS arrived, they continued to resuscitate Blase until he was stable enough to be transported to the hospital.

Unfortunately, due to the extensive amount of time Blase's heart had stopped, which caused a lack of oxygen to Blase’s brain, he suffered very severe brain damage. Sadly, Blase has succumbed to his injuries.

Blase recently relocated to Saint Louis in November 2023 as he wanted to live with his father after the passing of his mom in late September 2023, as she lost her battle to cancer. Blase has made his way back to his mom.
