On January 1st, 2026, we received the kind of news no one is ever prepared to face. A heartbreaking, devastating message: the unexpected passing of our sister Blanca Dominguez.

With the same determination she carried every day—to provide for her children and work with dignity—she was on her way to her job that morning. Just minutes before arriving, her vehicle was struck by another driver who was under the influence. In a single moment, our family lost a daughter, a sister, a mother… and the world lost a kind, hardworking, and deeply loving woman.

The emptiness she leaves behind is immense.

A mother mourns the loss of her daughter.

We, her siblings, mourn the loss of our eldest sister.

And most painfully, her children mourn the absence of their mother.

There are no words that can fully describe the pain we feel or how deeply we will miss her. We are still struggling to accept that she will no longer be with us. Yet we find comfort in knowing that her spirit now rests in eternity with God, where there is no suffering and no tears.

In these days, many friends, relatives, and coworkers—people who loved and appreciated her—have asked how they can support. Blanca leaves behind three children: a 15‑year‑old boy, an 11‑year‑old girl, and a little 2‑year‑old boy. Although their grandmother, aunts, and uncles will care for them with all our love, any help will be a blessing for their future.

El 1 de enero del 2026 recibimos la noticia que nadie está preparado para enfrentar. Una noticia que quebranta el alma: la partida inesperada de nuestra hermana Blanca Domínguez.

Con el mismo deseo de siempre —sacar adelante a sus hijos y trabajar con dignidad— ella iba rumbo a su empleo, como cada mañana. A solo minutos de llegar, su vehículo fue impactado por otro conductor que manejaba bajo los efectos de sustancias. En un instante, nuestra familia perdió una hija, una hermana, una madre… y el mundo perdió a una mujer noble, trabajadora y profundamente amorosa.

El vacío que deja es inmenso.

Una madre llora la ausencia de su hija.

Sus hermanos lloramos la partida de nuestra hermana mayor.

Y lo más doloroso: sus hijos lloran la ausencia eterna de su mamá.

No existen palabras suficientes para describir el dolor que sentimos ni la falta que ella nos hará. Todavía nos cuesta aceptar que ya no estará físicamente entre nosotros. Sin embargo, encontramos consuelo en saber que su espíritu descansa en la eternidad con Dios, donde no hay sufrimiento ni lágrimas.

En estos días, muchos amigos, familiares y compañeros de trabajo —personas que la apreciaban profundamente— nos han preguntado cómo pueden apoyar. Blanca dejó tres hijos: un joven de 15 años, una niña de 11 y un pequeño de apenas 2 añitos. Aunque su abuelita, tías y tíos estaremos cuidándolos con todo nuestro amor, cualquier ayuda será de gran bendición para su futuro.

Si Dios pone en su corazón el deseo de donar, todo lo recaudado será destinado exclusivamente para ellos.

De todo corazón, agradecemos sus oraciones, su apoyo y su cariño en este momento tan difícil.
