On behalf of Blanca Arias' family, with unimaginable grief and sadness, we share the sudden and tragic loss of their mother, the matriarch of her family, who was taken from her loved ones far too soon.

Shortly after the New Year, in the early hours of the morning, Blanca was heading back home when her life was senselessly cut short. Just blocks away from her house, she was struck and killed by a drunk driver. After days in the ICU, the family was notified that their mother was no longer in her body. In a single, devastating moment, a preventable act forever changed the family’s lives and left them grappling with a loss that feels impossible to comprehend.
