We are reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Our beloved dad, Bill, a proud Vietnam War veteran, is currently in hospice care after a severe foot infection spread throughout his body and became untreatable. In addition to his physical health struggles, Bill has lived for many years with paranoid schizophrenia, which has made his journey even more challenging.
Despite everything he has endured, Bill has always been a loving father and grandfather. His grandbabies bring him so much joy, and our family is doing everything we can to surround him with love, comfort, and dignity in his final days.
My husband Jer, along with his sister Char and brother Billy, have stepped away from work to care for their dad around the clock. They are committed to being by his side, making sure he is not alone and that his remaining time is filled with family, peace, and compassion. Unfortunately, this has also meant lost income and mounting medical and end-of-life expenses.
We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so they can focus fully on caring for their father without the added stress of how bills will be paid. Any support, whether through prayers, donation or by sharing this page, would mean more to our family than words can express.
Thank you for helping us honor Bill’s life, his service to our country, and the love he has always shown to his family. ❤️
