My dad, Bill was an incredible father to me, my brother, and my sister. He was also an amazing brother to his siblings and a devoted son to his parents—his mom Gerri is still with us at 93. Bill was a passionate disc golfer, a role model to many, a dedicated friend, and someone who lived his life with intent and passion. I am so proud of the man he was, and I hope we can all live our lives with the same kindness and selflessness that he showed every day. He passed unexpectedly at Delaveaga Disc Golf Course surrounded by friends and the beauty of nature.

Losing him has been incredibly hard, and our family is now facing the challenge of covering funeral expenses, legal fees, estate expenses, and more. We chose the earth funeral process, an eco friendly alternative to cremation, to honor his love for nature. Unfortunately, this being so unexpected means our father did not finish his will in time, so these donations will allow us to handle all expenses until probate is finished. Once we are able to access our inheritance we plan to donate an equal amount of money to that which we received in our father's name. Any support would mean the world to our family as we honor Bill’s memory and navigate this difficult time.

Our father passed away from a heart attack at his favorite place on earth, the delaveaga disc golf course surrounded by his close friends. We plan on using a portion of the donated to buy an AED for the disc golf course. Though it would not have helped him due to the severity of his heart attack, it has the potential to save someone else in a similar situation and he would be reassured to know his death could help others.
