William Edward Cothrum, known to everyone as Bill, was more than just our landlord. He was someone we grew up with and someone who truly cared about the people around him. In a city without rent control, Bill always made sure his tenants were treated fairly and never faced unjust rent increases. He consistently stood on the side of kindness and fairness, and that is how many of us will remember him.

Bill’s passing has left behind his wife, Phoebe, who is now facing life without her partner. She is currently not working and is now burdened with the unexpected costs of cremation and finding Bill a place to rest at a cemetery.
