On December 25, 2025, the world lost a truly great man. Jeff Chalker—lovingly known as “Big Jeff”—was involved in a tragic freak accident at his home in Cottonwood Heights over the weekend. He was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support, where he later passed away.

Anyone who knew Big Jeff knew just how big his heart was and how deeply he loved his family. He had a way of lighting up any room with his larger-than-life smile and warm presence.

Big Jeff is survived by his wife, Jill, and their two sons, Joe and Jeff. This GoFundMe has been created to help support the family with medical expenses, funeral costs, and any needs that arise during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated.

The family is currently planning for a memorial service to take place in the middle of January. We will keep this page update with further details.
