Bertha Garcia Pantoja, also known to many as "Juana", was a mother, sister, friend, and a woman deeply cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

On May 22, 2026, our mother departed this life in a completely unexpected manner. No one saw this loss coming, and today we are left to face this immense grief while trying to find solace in the knowledge that she can now finally rest after so many years of tireless labor.

Those who knew my mom know that she was a determined, hardworking, and extraordinarily strong woman. As a single mother, she dedicated her life to raising her three children, fearlessly facing every obstacle in order to provide us with a better life. She never gave up, no matter how difficult the circumstances became.

Yet, beyond all her hard work, simply being around her meant being surrounded by joy. She always had a smile on her face, a joke to tell, or a way to make those around her laugh. She was a generous woman with a big heart; even when she didn't have much herself, she never hesitated to offer help or support to anyone in need.

We, her children, will remember her as a woman who—though she could sometimes be tough—taught us to be people of strong values, resilience, and strength. Thanks to her, we are now adults who continue to move forward without giving up, carrying with us everything she taught us through her own example.

During this incredibly difficult time, we would deeply appreciate any support to help cover the immediate expenses related to her passing, including funeral and memorial services, burial costs, a headstone, administrative fees, as well as other family and logistical needs that have arisen following her unexpected departure.

Any donation, prayer, message, or gesture of support means the world to our family. Thank you for helping us give her the beautiful and dignified farewell she deserves.
