I’m Dana, Bernice was my mom, my best friend, and now one of my many guardian angels.

For the last year my mom has been really sick in and out of the hospital, numerous surgeries, lots of pain and too much time away from her loved ones.

One can only hold on so long before that is too much on your body and soul and enough is enough. The pain and the complications from surgery took a toll on her and her body so the only thing that she could do was be put on comfort care with hospice where after 3 weeks she passed way with her daughter by her side holding her hand.

Even knowing that the outcome was gonna be Bernice passing it didn’t prepare anyone financially .

Bernice did not have life insurance, she was getting social security and disability so there is no money to help with the expenses of her passing or having to move all of her belongings from where she was living, her stuff in storage, I don’t think even if you were prepared for some one to pass that you’re ever even prepared.

My mom wanted to be cremated so I want to be able to do that for her, get her family together to celebrate her life, and move her stuff from storage and where she was staying in Cottage Grove so we don’t lose her belongings, anything will help and will be appreciated
