Honoring Bernell

Bernell would want to be a part of these words by offering some of her wisdom. Like: Fight to Win, Take Care of Your Heart, Be Positive, Say Yes- When It's Hard, Be Active, Take Care of Yourself... and there were many more.

I missed Bernell long before she transitioned, as our life changed in so many ways during her cancer battle. But being loved by her, and loving her was truly the best of us and a blessing.

Bernell was a visionary for women's sports and dedicated her life to the enhancement of access, education, business and "playing the game"

Her greatest passion was Women's Basketball and her dream of being the owner of the Milwaukee Women's Professional Basketball Team: "The Milwaukee Aces".

Her dream, goals and creation gave many an opportunity to coach, play, learn the business of the game and to look forward to the future of Women's Sports.

Many lives were changed and will be affected by her passing, but left with her memory and legacy.

I'm leaving the sun of Las Vegas to return home to family in Wisconsin. The needed funds and expenses of her final affairs, relocating and memorial cost are needed.
