I have a favor to ask. And a secret for you to keep.

Bentley Fish is the son of Blake and Spencer Fish. He recently passed away at the age of 2 years old from Dravet Syndrome. Blake and Spencer have done so much work for Dravet Syndrome on their own, raising over $50,000 for Dravet Syndrome awareness.

I want to to give back to Blake and Spencer and help in any way I can. Bentley’s birthday is Sunday, February 2nd, at 2pm at the Crossville Cemetery. We will celebrate Bentley by blowing bubbles, wearing the color purple (his favorite), and by releasing balloons.

There has been so much love and support for sweet Bentley from all people, people who never even met him, and his memory lives on through all of us and our love and support for Blake and Spencer. Their family has gone through so much hardship and loss, and I could not even begin to fathom what they are going through.

I ask a few things from you:

1. If you have a comment or a nice thing to say to Blake and Spencer, drop one in the comments section. I’m making a scrapbook that I will give to the family including all the posts, comments, and stories, from this time. Blake and Spencer loved sharing Bentley with the world, and we can give back to them in turn.

2. This is a SECRET!! Because I want this to be public, I have to block Blake and her family on Facebook so this can come as a surprise. I think a huge present from all of us for Bentley on his birthday will be so special. I will unblock the family after the Balloon and Bubbles party so they can see all the love online that they have missed.

3. I’ve created a GoFundMe for the Fish Family. Blake has helped so many people as a travel advisor, and we could buy them a vacation in return. Their mission was to give Bentley the best life they could while he was young, and they did that! Any funds will go directly to the Fish Family and however they see fit.

I know some of us want to help and we don’t know how, but I wanted to offer some way that we can all come together and show how much we care.
