Honoring Bekah Tabb & Supporting Her Family

Rebekah Tabb, a beloved long-time employee of The Cellar Newnan Chophouse and Bays, passed away suddenly on January 23, 2026. Bekah was known and loved by many in the south Metro area, and her presence touched countless lives. She leaves behind her mother, who was not only her family but also her best friend. The loss is deeply felt by everyone who knew her, from coworkers to customers who became friends over the years.

For five years Bekah came to work ready to greet guests and welcome new employees alike. She was instrumental in mentoring new employees and especially enjoyed working with our "Cellar College" kids, many of whom this was their first job. She set them all on a path of success and growth, greatly impacting their future success in the workplace.

Bekah was the light and the soul of The Bays. She was always the first to offer help and the last to take it, making a lasting impact on everyone around her. Her kindness, generosity, and spirit will forever be a part of us. As her family and friends, we want to come together to support her mother during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and costs related to handling Bekah's estate, easing the burden on her family so they can focus on healing and remembering her.

Any contribution is deeply appreciated. Taking this burden off her family is the ultimate way we can honor Bekah, as her loved ones meant everything to her. If donations exceed what is needed, the remaining funds will be donated to the Spay Neuter Clinic to provide low cost animal care, so everyone can experience the joy that animals brought to Bekah. Thank you for helping us celebrate Bekah's life and support her family in their time of need.

We will have Jim Ellison, Newnan City Church, on hand Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. for grief counseling. This is open to employees, past and present, as well as the community. Please stay aware as we will announce arrangements for a public Celebration of Life afternoon to share all our best Bekah stories as soon as plans are finalized. Everyone is welcome.
