This fundraiser is organized by all of Barb Seager's children, and it is to honor her tireless dedication to the Stone Soup Food Pantry in Mulberry, Indiana, and supports the work she helped build.

Barb was so happy to help "her people" get the food they needed, and she greeted each of them by name as they came in every month.

Barb helped envision a larger food pantry for Madison Township. She asked each of the three Mulberry churches to join the leadership committee so that they could expand their services together. She named the pantry "Stone Soup" after one of her favorite books that she read to her kindergarten classes. Like the soup in the story, she believed the pantry worked because everyone added something.

Today, the Stone Soup Food Pantry operates out of the Snyder Community Center and has served families and individuals across Madison Township for more than 14 years. Each month, it serves 20 to 30 people and families in this small community.

Barb worked alongside a small team of volunteers to keep the pantry going. She raised funds, wrote grants to keep the shelves stocked, and shopped the grocery store sales to make every dollar count. She did whatever else was needed. She took pride in how much good the pantry's small budget could do for the community.

Thank you for honoring Barb and supporting a cause so dear to her heart, and for donating to help neighbors in need in the community she loved!

Gifts to this fundraiser will go directly to Stone Soup Food Pantry to help keep its shelves stocked.
