Our son, Theodore "Teddy" Nisly, was born on 11/24/25 after serious complications. He was admitted to the Bryan NICU on life support. After days of cooling therapy, brain function tests, and praying for a miracle we got the worst news imaginable - that he was not going to recover. On Thursday, 12/4/25, our baby boy Teddy passed peacefully, surrounded by our love.

Several days before he passed, we made the decision to donate Teddy's organs. The matching process didn't go as anyone expected and he was too small to match with recipients on almost everything, but Teddy was still able to donate heart valves after his passing. This is a gift that will help four other babies. He is our angel and our little superhero.

To our Teddy Bear - we were so blessed to have the gift of 10 days with you. We love you to the moon and back and we are so proud of you. This isn't a goodbye, just a see you later.
