Dear family and friends,

Please join us in supporting Lauren and Jeff Hine as they navigate the heartbreaking loss of their baby, Hazel. Their precious daughter was so close to her due date when, after noticing changes in her movement, Lauren and Jeff went to the hospital. The ultrasound revealed that Hazel no longer had a heartbeat. The cause was determined to be a rare cord accident. Hazel was 34 weeks and 3 days gestation.

Lauren was induced, and the following day, on January 15, 2026, she birthed Hazel. Lauren and Jeff were able to spend time with Hazel in the hospital, holding her in their arms for the first time while also having to say goodbye.

From the very beginning, Hazel was deeply loved and cherished. Lauren and Jeff sang to her every day and were already filled with so much love for her, along with so many dreams of getting to know her and watching her grow. Life will never be the same without Hazel. Family and friends were eagerly awaiting her arrival, and we now want to come together to support Hazel’s parents through this unimaginable time.

Hazel’s funeral service will be held on January 26, 2026. Any contribution to honor Hazel’s memory and help with her memorial expenses would mean so much to her parents.

Though Hazel’s time with us was far too short, the love her parents have for her will always remain. We will continue to hold Lauren and Jeff close and surround them with care in the days ahead.
