With broken hearts, we share the passing of our precious baby girl, Dalia Lilian Mendez De Santiago, born on May 12, 2025, who left this world far too soon on February 20, 2026.

From the very beginning, Dalia showed us what true strength looks like. Born with Type II collagenopathies, she faced challenges that no child should ever have to endure. Yet through every appointment, every hospital stay, and every difficult moment, Dalia remained a beautiful light in our lives. Her gentle eyes, her tiny fingers, and her sweet presence filled our days with a love deeper than words can describe.

Dalia was not only a beloved daughter and granddaughter, but also a cherished twin sister to Emilia Lilith Mendez de Santiago. Though their time together was brief, their bond was undeniable — a connection that will forever remain. Emilia will always carry a piece of her sister with her, and our family will always honor the love they shared.

On February 20, 2026, surrounded by love, Dalia passed peacefully in the arms of her grandmother, Elvita.
