My niece Harmony and E-man had an emergency C-section on Christmas Day. Bentley was born at 32 weeks; he was 4 lb 12 oz and 16 inches .7 in long. He did have some complications with his heart, but he was a fighter. He was doing so good, and the Hospital wanted her to pull the plug on him and not even fight for him. Well, his mommy was not giving up on him. The NICU did give up on him; they transported him to the 6th floor. He was doing amazing there until about 10:30 at night. They called Harmony and said he was in cardiac arrest. She hurried there with my sister, Darlene, and Ethan, the baby’s dad. They then performed compressions on Bentley’s chest with full palms, both hands on his chest, right in front of his mom, his dad, and his grandmother. He started bleeding out of his nose and his mouth, and they told them there was no saving him. They gave up on him. He was not flatlined when they arrived in the room, so we’re not sure what happened until the autopsy is performed.
But they desperately need help with the funeral expenses, so if anybody can find it in their heart to help our family in this time of need, I gently appreciate it, and God bless you all. The date of Bentley’s services is still to be announced. We are still waiting on some stuff so the date on here is not accurate.
