Honoring baby August support for memorial and family needs.
Hello everyone, as many of you know I gave birth to my son August Semaj Jones on December 27th 2023. This whole journey has been a rollercoaster. When I was pregnant he was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. It is a very rare heart condition where the left side is smaller than the right, essentially half a heart. On top of that while in the womb his heart duplicated it self so he has two left chambers and two right chambers so his heart was competing with it self so the doctors never knew what side was dominant. While pregnant with him I’ve spent most of my time in the hospital trying to get his heart rate under control while doctors were trying to figure out what to do. They would tell me with what he had, it would be a miracle if he survived. After defying the odds through pregnancy he was finally born. On his second day of life he had his first major heart surgery. Then to lead onto 4 more, plus many other procedures. Through this we have had many scares and he died 3 times and was brought back to life. He recently had his last surgery which he defied all odds. And that was his last one until he was going to get his tracheostomy procedure to come home. But unfortunately this week he was getting extremely sick and his just couldn’t fight anymore. Baby August took his last breath after removing the breathing ventilator. He was truly a miracle baby and fighter. All the doctors and medical staff did there very best to save him, they truly were like our second family. My son fought a good fight. My family and I are asking if you can please help us raise funds for his service and support. I thank everyone who has been there for us through these very hard 5 1/2 months. We truly love you and are forever blessed.
In loving memory of our little Augie
