Dear Friends and Family,

With heavy hearts, we share the story of our beloved Avery, an extraordinary 2-year-old who has touched the lives of everyone around him. Avery entered this world wrapped in blue, full of promise and potential. However, life's journey took a different turn when, after a cardiac arrest, he suffered a stroke and a seizure, resulting in severe brain damage. Despite the challenges he faced, Avery emerged as a true hero among us. Diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, heart failure, respiratory failure, and significant hearing and vision deficits, he has shown a strength and resilience that inspire all who know him. Avery's infectious smile brings joy and happiness to everyone he meets, lighting up even the darkest days. His best friend, his 4-year-old sister, brings a special spark to his life. Together, they spend their days singing, playing with his favorite stuffed animals, and creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Their bond is a testament to the love and joy that Avery has spread throughout our family.

As Avery continues to grow, he has endured increasing pain and discomfort, and today, we find ourselves in an unimaginable place, grappling with the heart-wrenching reality of having to say goodbye to our sweet baby Avery. This little warrior has faced battles that most of us can only fathom. After enduring multiple heart surgeries, countless procedures, and a devastating cardiac arrest, Avery's life has been a testament to resilience and strength. Living with a tracheostomy and a ventilator, Avery has fought every day for the chance to experience life. But he has not deserved the struggles he has faced on this earth. Now, as we prepare to let him go, we want to honor his incredible journey.

Avery is ready to leave behind the tubes and wires that have confined him. He is ready to run and play freely, to walk hand in hand with Jesus in a place where he can finally be without pain and hardship.
