Honoring Austin Sigh- Support the Sigh family

It is with deep shock and sorrow, I tell you that my little brother Austin Sigh died yesterday afternoon. He accidentally drowned in a lake. He was 21 years old. He is survived by his wife Mary Katheryn, his 13 month old son Lian, parents Edward and Berda Sigh, his identical twin brother Justin, siblings Joey, Tony, Brit, Taylor, brothers in law Alex and John, sister in law Jasmine, nieces Tabitha and Khalila, nephew Camden, myself (his big sister), along with extended family: Grandmother Rosie, and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins on both sides of the family.

We are so grateful to the first responders who searched for and recovered his body. We are forever thankful that he didn’t die alone; his friend Amanda heroically tried to save him, and was able to quickly get help. Honestly, we don’t know what we need yet. We are processing all of the emotions grief has for us as they arrive.

If we don’t respond to calls or text messages for a while, please give us grace. Memorial service arrangements are yet to be planned, but we will inform you all when we are able. We appreciate your prayers and condolences from the bottom of our broken hearts. Hug your loved ones and let them know how you feel. You never know when the last goodbye could arrive…
