Hi! My name is Carolina Zaldivar and I am a high school student hoping to raise money for The Aubrie Peña Legacy Foundation Club.
The Aubrie Peña Legacy Foundation Club was created to honor the life and impact of Aubrie Peña while supporting teens who are battling cancer. Aubrie was known for her kindness, strength, and the way she brought light into the lives of the people around her. Her story continues to inspire us to help others facing difficult challenges.
Aubrie was a courageous 14 year old girl, who faced a rare sarcoma cancer, CIC-DUX4. With incredible strength and love. Despite multiple challenges, she remained positive. Always telling her parents "I got this" and fighting for her family. Even when faced with difficult news that her sarcoma had progressed, Aubrie's spirit never wavered.

Love for her family that gave her strength
Resilience in the face of incredible challenges
Throughout her treatment, Aubrie continued to dream-planning her Quinceanera, thinking about college and finding joy in moments like going to the movies and concerts. Her parent described her as our "sweet girl" who fought hard until the very end. Aubrie passed away May 9th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, and her closest friends. Leaving behind a legacy of courage, hope and love.
Our club’s goal is to create gift baskets for teenage cancer patients who are going through treatment. Being a teenager in the hospital can feel isolating and overwhelming, and we want to remind these patients that they are seen, supported, and cared for. Each basket will include comfort items, activities, and small gifts that can brighten their day during a tough time.
We are raising funds to purchase supplies for these baskets and to continue expanding the impact of the Aubrie Pena Legacy Foundation Club. Every donation helps us bring comfort, encouragement, and a sense of community to teens who need it most.
