On Sunday, our lives changed forever. My little sister, Aubrey Phillips, was tragically killed in a devastating car accident caused by a truck driver. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, a niece and someone deeply loved by so many people. Aubrey had such a caring heart, and her loss has left our family completely shattered. The accident was incredibly severe, her vehicle was sideswiped by a moving truck, causing the car to flip three times before hitting a pole. Her mother-in-law was also seriously injured and is currently in the ICU with a broken back and pelvic bone. Miraculously, Aubrey’s newborn baby survived without harm, which truly feels like a miracle after everything that happened. It hurts deeply to even type these words.
